A holiday meal that feels like home
The holidays are about gathering together. A Meal for Every Table helps Mercer County families share a warm holiday meal with dignity, joy, and connection. Each Thanksgiving basket holds the makings of a complete meal and a $25 grocery store gift card, so parents and caregivers can prepare a celebration that feels like home.
No family should have to choose between everyday needs and a meaningful holiday meal. This season, we're inviting neighbors, workplaces, schools, and faith groups to help us fill 200 baskets. Whether you run a collection drive or give a gift, you help every table share a meal, make memories, and celebrate together. Every basket goes home with a local family at our Fall Into Wellness Resource Fair on November 18.
Together, we can bring comfort, hope, and a sense of belonging to families across Mercer County.

What goes in a complete basket?
One of each: canned vegetables, stuffing mix, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rice, pasta, pasta sauce, beans, a boxed dessert, and a $25 grocery store gift card.
When is the last day to donate?
Please bring all items by Monday, November 9. That gives us time to pack every basket before Fall Into Wellness on November 18.
Where do I drop off items?
CCCC teams bring items to their team's collection spot. Our Community Resource team picks them up at the end of the challenge.
Can my business host a collection box?
Yes. Email communityresources@capitolkids.org and we'll set one up. In-Kind Supporters are thanked at Fall Into Wellness.
How does my family sign up for a basket?
Sign-up is open October 26 to November 9. If you work with a CCCC staff member, they can help you sign up. Any extra baskets go out first come, first served after 5:30 PM at Fall Into Wellness.
Who can come to Fall into Wellness?
Everyone is welcome. Every guest gets a raffle ticket at the door. You can visit the resource shop, meet local providers, and get a health screening.
